Sunuba came into being in 1993, when Mrs. I. Shahid decided to create job opportunities for females when there was no concept of working females in a city like Peshawar. From there Mrs. I. Shahid nurtured Sunuba and made it an internationally recognized brand by winning competitions internationally. She took part in “Hair Asia Pacific” and brought home two trophies in two consecutive years.

Her goal has always been to bring the latest international trends to our market. Sunuba is the first salon introducing airbrush make-up and bringing a real and proper day spa in our country. Sunuba’s staff has been highly trained personally by Mrs. I. Shahid. from institutions like Monita Beauty Academy, Hong Kong; Shahnaz Hussein Beauty Institute, India. L and D Hair coloring Institute, London; Grease and Paint, London; Stiner Beauty Academy, London; Pivot Point, Chicago; Curve Matrix, Chicago; Universal Hair Studio, China; Vidal Sassoon, China. She and her daughter, Ubab Mamina got their complete SPA training from Thailand’s top institutes like Spa Mantra, ITM, and the school of Medical SPA, in Chiang Mai.
